France’s Council of State, the body that advises the government on legislation has lifted the ban on the sale of CBD that would have become law in December 2021…on 31 December 2022. The decision was made because the ban was considered to be “disproportionate”.

Some changes were changed and some decisions reversed and depending on your politics this has been a good time for crazy times. The one good thing that has come from this though has been Twitter’s reversal of a suggestion that you seek drug treatment when you searched for, amongst others, marijuana. Let’s see if this is one decision that doesn’t get reversed.

Rapper Afroman, he of the one-hit wonder “Because I Got High”, has announced his candidacy for the 2024 US presidential elections. Two of his campaign promises are the decriminalsation of cannabis in all US states (duh!) and the immediate halt to all foreign aid by the US government.
